Abstract

This work aimed to characterize the variability of meteorological elements, precipitation, insolation, air temperatures (maximum, minimum and average), air humidity and evaporation, based on data from the conventional weather station in Tarauacá, Acre, 1994-2019. An analysis was carried out to identify any trends in precipitation and temperature data, using linear regression and the Mann-Kendall test. The evaluated location has an average annual rainfall of 2,288 mm, with 2010 being the driest year (1,642 mm) and 2015 the rainiest in the series (2,973 mm). The month of July was the driest (46 mm) and the month of March the rainiest (340 mm). The lowest average temperatures throughout the year occurred in July, at  24.9 °C, while the highest averages, were recorded in October, at 26.6 °C. The data series did not show trends of increasing or decreasing precipitation. However, it showed a tendency to increase the temperature.
