Abstract

The present work aims to bring extracts from the literature of feminine expression, highlighting the feminine characteristics and their interconnections with social practices, which have as protagonist the man who performs and elaborates these actions in his spouses. To do so, we talk with the tales Maibi (by Alberto Rangel) and My Mirror (by Florentina Esteves), who talk about women in different moments and perspectives. The analysis of tales is based on the theoretical notions of Beauvoir (1980), Millet (1977) and Cândida Vilares (1991).
